The Work Begins! - Donald Trump Tweets as His Inauguration as U.S President Kicks-off in Few Hours

 

President-elect Trump promised his supporters that 'the work will begin' following his inauguration later on Friday in Washington DC. Hours before he is officially sworn in as President of the United States, Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to declare that “the work begins today.” 
 
The President-elect who is due to attend a private service at St John’s church in Washington DC with his family before the inauguration ceremony kicks off later today.
 
Trump started his big day by tweeting “THE MOVEMENT CONTINUES – THE WORK BEGINS,” to his 20million followers.
 
Later this morning he will be welcomed to his new home – the White House by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle before heading to Capitol Hill.
 
The eyes of the world will be on Trump as he takes the Oath of Office and offers his inaugural address at around noon local time (5pm GMT)
 
The official swearing in ceremony, which dates back to the time of George Washington, will take place on the steps in front of the US Capitol.
 
Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to fill the capital to watch Trump take office 10 weeks after stunning America and the world by winning the US election.
 
While many will be there to celebrate, protesters are expected to come out in force to disrupt the day.
