A man has revealed how he landed in deeper trouble while searching for a way out of a mess he found himself in. Victor Mitileni, a 31-year-old man who lost his job has landed in more trouble.

The man was so desperate to get his job back that he did something drastic.

According to Daily Sun SA, Victor thought his prayers were answered when he saw a recent advert in a local newspaper of a sangoma (traditional healer or diviner) who helps people get their jobs back.

The young man from Meadowlands in Soweto, South Africa, decided to give the sangoma a try.

Today, said Victor, his life has become a mess.

“I even think of killing myself.” He said

He said that he lost R62 000 to the fake sangoma.

Victor said his nightmare started when he was taken to the dark indumba by the sangoma.

“He told me there was no need for me to go back to my job. He said I could start my own business instead. He said I should speak to my ancestors and they would open paths for me,” Victor told Daily Sun.

He said while he was in the indumba he started hearing voices which the sangoma said were those of his ancestors.

“The voices told me they were going to bless me so I could open my business. But to start the process I had to give an offering in return.

“They wanted R80 000 but I didn’t have money,” he said.

Victor said he only managed to borrow R62 000 from a lender, hoping that he would be rich soon and be able to pay it back.

“I was told to deposit the money in the sangoma’s account,” said Victor.

Today the sangoma and the ancestors are nowhere to be found.

“I am unemployed and I don’t know how I will pay back the lender. And the sangoma is no longer taking my calls,” said Victor.
